Top quality, friendly staff Highly recommend a visit

We have eaten at Dick and Wills a number of times and had excellent food and wine on each occasion.

This is a well run establishment, the owners are delightful, the food is local and fresh and the wine list is excellent. Our most recent visit was for a take away which was beautifully presented and delicious as usual. The burger and fish and chips were particularly good. Arrived on time, ready for collection and as usual we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff and it was excellent value.

Highly recommended and well worth a visit if you’re in the Salcombe area.

Superb Prawn Massaman curry

Despite the restaurant being closer the guys are doing take away food. Ordered the massaman curry and it was simply delicious. Not a huge fan of black rice but it worked with the curry. Highly recommend! Yum

Fantastic food, excellent value

Rarely could I choose every single option on a menu, but here I wish we could stay a week as we struggled to decide which starter and main course to choose. Several of the choices had vegetarian option if that is a preference. Good size portions and beautifully presented. Good wine choices at medium cost. Good bottle of wine, starter and main course £120 for two. Booking at this time of year essential. Excellent friendly staff.

First class in every way

Stopped in on the off chance not expecting a table, from the first moment the service was first class. Waitress was very friendly and helpful, owner more than happy to mix drinks not on the menu, considering there were five of us (men enjoying a few drinks) I thought they might not welcome us, but they were so nice we stayed for a meal too, food was unreal, aloo gobi has to be tried!

Great value great service great food, a real treat!

A fantastic find

We stumbled over what looked like an estate agent initially, to find a lovely restaurant. Down the grey staircase to a beautiful sunny restaurant. No booking but they fitted us in. Food was perfect, a spicy prawn and monkfish aloo gobi. Delicious vintage cava to complement and view over the harbour. Staff were sweet and very efficient. 10 out of 10!!
